Holiday prep for me consists of endless lists of things to buy and things to pack.
It’s only 4 days until we head to sunny Spain for some much needed sun.
Currently there is a half packed suitcase belonging to me and the other half has yet to even think about what he wants to take. Instead I have lost him to GTA V but he will no doubt pull out his wee case on Wednesday night and throw some things in and still manage to be packed before me.
The most important thing for me on holidays is the music on my iphone and books. This time i’ve opted for a Kindle. After resisting for so long and packing four books into my hand luggage each time, I thought i’d take the plunge.
So after much deliberation a Kindle is on it’s way and i’ll let you know how I got on when we get back. One plus already is the space I have saved in my hand luggage. Looking for accessories for the Kindle is also a job in itself. As I like to read in bed, I thought about getting a light. I opted for the Kandle Flex by Ozeri. When both my Kindle and light arrived I had to test it out before I went. The light is fab. It fits perfectly onto the Kindle. Another good point to the Kandle Flex is the brightness function and the bendy arm. I find that the first setting is bright enough for me. It doesn’t cause any glare on the screen and doesn’t disturb the other half when reading in bed. When it’s not being used, it can be neatly folded up and popped into a protective case. The extra batteries also make it well worth the £12.95.
Next thing on my list is prep-ing me for holidays. Between getting eye brows waxed and exfoliating before I see the sun it better be worth it. In helping get my skin ready for holidays I bought some Turkish Hammam exfoliating mitts. These are a great idea. Not too rough and perfect for daily use. With regular use the dreaded cellulite is even less noticeable, granted it’s not instant but with regular use I can say i’m noticing a small difference.
Now i’m almost ready and spending money has been changed to euro, the excitement is setting in.
Only three more days at work for both of us and then we’re off bright and early Thursday morning.
Hopefully we make it back from Spain to fill you in on our adventures, although seeing as the other half is hiring a car i’m crossing everything.
Until then we’ll be enjoying good Spanish food, wine and sunshine!
