So the powers to be aka Twitter introduced me to the lovely Louisa Brown Soap. Louisa Brown Soap is the product of Louisa Brown who was inspired by someone doing exactly the same on television. After many years experimenting, I’d say she’s pretty much mastered the art!
Like the majority of girls out there I love good quality skin products. Having slightly sensitive skin and it not loving overly perfumed products or those with lots of things going on, I was intrigued to see what was on offer.
Having a quick look around the website, there is a lots of lovely soaps available. The best thing is, everything in the soap is as natural as can be.
There is a range of scents available, I chose Luscious Lavender, Citrus Burst and Summer Berry. The idea was that i’d treat myself to one and then give the rest away as part of presents. Well that was until they arrived…..
The smell when I opened the box was fab. They honestly smelt good enough to eat. Each bar came individually wrapped and were presented beautifully. Just plain and simple 🙂
I chose to keep a Luscious Lavender for myself.
So what else better to do on a Sunday night but run myself a wee bath. The perfect chance to test out the soap. It has a fantastic Lavender smell, which is natural and not artificial. Another great thing is the bits of petals incorporated into the soap to make it more than just a plain bar of soap.
The soap produced a lovely rich lather and was soft on my skin and when washed off my skin not only smelt great but was soft to touch. The bar itself keeps its shape and doesn’t soften when in contact with water it just forms a lather and you end up using hardly any of the soap.
The real test was when I got into bed, usually with some shower gels and bath soaks they start to itch my skin and make it feel tight but I was fine with this soap.
Thank goodness for Twitter otherwise I’d have missed out on this treat!
Now just to decide if I like my friends just enough to part with these lovelies.
