Sponsored Video: Cocktail Crashers vs the weeknight #letsCocktail

June 12, 2015 by Her Leave a Comment

With the recent good weather we have been having it’s really starting to feel like summer. With the days getting longer it’s the perfect excuse to get out the office as early as possible and enjoy the sun (while it lasts).

Of course with all this sun you are going to need some refreshment and there is nothing better on a summer evening than a lovely cool cocktail. My cocktail of choice almost always includes my favourite spirit – gin, and today we are sharing a simple but very tasty sounding cocktail from thebar.com:

The OMG&T is a refreshing summer twist on that British classic, a G&T. The OMG&T contains Gordons London Gin (other brands are available 😉 ), berries, elderflower cordial, tonic water and a squeeze of lime. You can mix it up simply using a jam jar making this a hassle free cocktail that you can whip up at home without needing any expensive cocktail making gear.

Watch the video above, check out the OMG&T recipe and get shaking up this bad boy (we will be). Aside from the OMG&T there’s plenty other gin cocktails on the site as well as recipes including all the other popular spirits.

Thebar.com also has a cool ingredients driven section where you select what spirit, mixer, garnish etc. that you have in the cupboard and it spits out a list of cocktail recipes using the ingredients you have to hand! Perfect if you fancy an impromptu cocktail in the garden but don’t have the time to head to the shops.

Let us know how you find the OMG&T if you try it out and keep an eye on our twitter for a special Edinburgh related OMG&T that we are currently thinking up 😉

Bottoms up!
